Russian LCV market has grown 14% in May 2018

Autostat – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 9297 units in May 2018, following an 13,5% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicles).
The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 45% market share in total in May 2018. GAZ has sold 4146 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 10,4% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1184 units (-26,5% y/y). In May the top-three is completed by Mercedes-Benz (924 units, +96,6% y/y). LADA (901, +10,6% y/y) and Ford (818, +50,9% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model in May 2018 with 2476 units (+25,7% y/y) followed by GAZ 3302 (930 units, -2,3% y/y) and Ford Transit (783 units, +52,3%).
