Russian bus market has grown by 22% within the first half of 2018

Autostat. – Russian bus market (excluding LCVs) has amounted to 6,3 thousand vehicles within the first half of 2018, following a 21.8% year-on-year rise.

Best selling brands:

Russian manufacturer PAZ has become the leader of the market, with 51% share of the total volume. 3235 PAZ buses have been sold, indicating an 8.7% year-on-year growth.

All the top-3 most popular buses in the Russian bus market is formed of domestic brands. LiAZ occupies the second spot with approximately 1133 units and 34.7% year-on-year growth. Nefaz comes third in the ranking with 388 units and 53.4% year-on-year rise.

Belarusian MAZ occupies the fourth spot. MAZ is the most popular foreign brand in the Russian market with 376 units sold, indicating a 44.6% year-on-year growth. Chinese Yutong has the fifth position in the ranking with 312 units. Yutong has increased the sales by 2.5 times year-on-year.

Best selling models:

The small-class high-floor PAZ-3205 has become the best-sold model in the Russian bus market, with a sales figure of 1775 units, indicating a 15.8% year-on-year growth. Second place is occupied by small-class PAZ-3204 with 884 units and 15.7% year-on-year rise. Liaz-5250 comes third in the ranking with 416 units.

High-floor medium-class PAZ-4234 occupies the fourth spot with 396 units sold. Nefaz-5299 has the fifth position in the ranking with 388 units sold.
